Our Philosophy

Evaluation

We believe not everything can be measured on a standardized test, and take into account the full range of your child’s abilities.

Time + Effort

We value understanding each client and their family’s needs personally to provide the most individualistic care.

Assumed Competence

We don’t make assumptions of our client’s capabilities based upon their medical diagnosis. We work with their unique strengths to meet their communication goals.

Evidence Based Research

We stay up-to-date with the most recent techniques and intervention strategies, our therapy plans incorporate the latest evidence based intervention.

Mt. Tam, not Mt. Everest

We believe in scaffolding therapy to a challenging but attainable level so we can celebrate the small wins as we climb towards meeting our long term goals.

Family Centered

Most progress happens not in therapy, but during the moments in-between when you’re interacting with your loved one each day. That’s why we empower you with the confidence and tools needed to help progress your child’s communication between sessions.
